OMG the angle of that goldcrest nest was something to behold. Amazing there are some survivors. So pleased.

quite a lot have made it... the pied flycatchers were looking good yesterday and the Barn owls are huge

WE HAVE A SANDPIPER CHICK! AND ANOTHER ON ITS WAY OUT! Sorry for shouting but isn't that wonderful. Those birds know what they're doing.
Hope it doesn't make a nice supper for a mink. So vulnerable.

Lovely end to Springwatch, with legit's (rowen) chicks hatching. really enjoyed this years show. Cant wait for Chris's prog on Sunday 8.00pm BBC2, ans a Summerwatch special....................bliss
