Very lucky pigeon

Small bunch of feathers in my garden where one very lucky pigeon narrowly escaped being a cat's lunch. Neighbour's half grown cat is honing his hunting skills by chasing anything that moves - birds, butterflies, leaves, feathers etc. Don't have the heart to chase him, he's just so cute.......but so dangerous too.

try a water pistol it doesnt hurt the cat and may deter it from hunting in your garden.
Yep maggie, very dangerous I can remember our cat catching a full grown Wood Pigeon when he was about 6 months old the pigeon was bigger than him.
Agree with baza.
Oh well if it didn't get the pigeon it'll soon get the fledgling song birds at this time of the year. They'll be easier to catch as they're less experienced and savvy. They won't stand a chance.
Poor little mites.
