Dog Castration
My dog was castrated at 5 months old. He has just "tied" with a bitch on heat - is this normal?

are female stinging nettles rarer than male?
i notice a profusion of male flowering stinging nettles (Urtica dioica) locally, but virtually no female. I assume you would not find male and female flowers emanating from the same roots?

What happens if more than one pollen grain enters a stigma?

Can anyone sugest a good pet insurer? Our pet insurance has only ever payed out £15 towards a bill, it seems neither use nor ornament. Our average pet bill is approx £50 which we would have to pay (excess). thanks
