how would you feel?

Four weeks ago my husband brought home a stray cat that had been hanging around at has work for weeks. She is around seven months old. Today I left her into the vets to be spayed. When I picked her up I was told that she had been pregnant. She has only been indoors since she came here so it must have happened at least four weeks ago. I had no idea that she was pregnant. Now I feel so evil. I killed her babies. I feel really guilty. How would you feel in this situation?

I do feel for you,i had to have one of my cats put to sleep last year.How do you feel about your vet now,do you think he did all he could? You wouldn't have wanted your poor dog to suffer,so you did the right thing.(((xx))) hugs and kisses

GSDfan, I don't think your little cat would have known she was carrying at that early stage, I wouldn't think she minds at all, really - not if I know young cats. You did the right think.
