The swifts are back!

Always a good sign of spring, and summer on the way! I was just watering in the garden and Was delighted to hear their familiar racket overhead, high in the sky - only a couple as yet., we had about 12 last year by the time they left again. I have logged their comings and goings for the last few years, and they usually turn up about May 12th - spot on target!
