Hi my dog is 38 kilos what sort of doses are safe for him and what side affects are there cheers

please ask the vet this question...why do you want to use piriton on your dog?
Vets will recommend Piriton for dogs in the case of stings, and sometimes for allergies, but check with your vet on dosage.
Also prescribed for summer itching - up to 2 tablets (4mg each) twice a day for a 25 kilo dog (so 3 for a 38 kilo). You can get Asda own brand cheaper than the vet.
sorry but i still think its worth talking to the vet first so that you are sure about what is wrong and that piriton will help. After the initial consultation, our vet sells piriton at supermarket prices.
we have a beagle about 13kgs and she is allowed 3 a day she gets hay fever eyes (on vets advice)
