Don't you find with cats or other pets that the food or liquid put down for them (lovingly) by their owners is never good enough! My cats like drinking from the garden pond, puddles or any pool of water other than their drinking bowl!
I can't think of anything else that is unusual that they do at the moment!
Cheers Sue
My dog drinks out of the toilet. He'll actually sits outside waiting for someone to finish and flush. He has to pass his water bowl to do this!!!
My cat watches TV. She particularly likes "The Planet's Funniest Animals" , any documentary with cats in it, or football (she tries to catch the ball). Bless.

Whenever there is an empty box anywhere one of my cats gets in the box and it looks like its moving by itself.
Every dog I've ever had has done the thing with the toilets, and most have prefered puddles and the pond to nice clean water Also when ever Max has a bath I have to watch him constantly for a few days or the first chance he gets he rolls in any dirty puddle, pile of dirt, in fact anything that takes his fancy before trotting back to me with a "That smells better" look on his face. I've given up trying to figure them out,I suppose it must be genetic
I forgot to mention that Max (a GSD) must have secret ambitions to be a labrador, as we cann't leave a toilet roll any where he can get it or he carries it off and hides it in his basket
HC loves bags, boxes, cupboards and especially the fridge!

He has a suckle paw, always the same one, he suckles when he's happy.

The neighbours have a mark on their lino he goes mad over too, fights it apparantly! He follows people too and loves jumping through windows.

My friend's horse I used to ride would have a funny about random things at the side of the road, like a bench, and would refuse to move and you had to get off and walk him past!

There was also one particular jump he would never ever go over with my friend who has been riding forever. I learned to canter on him and on my second round he decided to give me a "treat" and take me over it having never jumped before!

He'd never let my friend's twin sister ride him either despite her being just as good a rider, he's throw her.
My old cat Tigger used to lie in the basin and wait for the tap to drip - he was fascinated by water; he also used to lie along the edge of the bath whilst you were in it, and float his tail on top of the water! Isla , my Belgian Shepherd dog watches television - one of her favourites is "The Dog Whisperer" she sits right in front of it, then gets up and looks round the back of the TV. Any dog noise or wolf howl etc and she's there! Not really strange, but very inquisitive!(It also hasn't improved her obedience!)
LOl purple. Our old cat used to sit on top of the telly chasing the football during match of the day.
Another cat I used to have watched the telly as well but only when it was off.
I had a cat that use to follow me. She use to chase the car up the road as well. Not good as we lived on a main road.

She also use to guard the baby if I left the room and if anyone tried to touch him she's attack them.

She thought she was a dog
My great aunt Jane was blind. She had a Persian cat who atacked a bloke that came to the door one afternoon trying to sell her something.
The cat must have known something she didn't.
I think I've worked out the drinking water mystery - cats don't usually drink water with their food in the wild... they get the moisture they need from their prey. If they are thirsty they will simply go to the nearest source which might well be that dirty puddle in the garden or that dripping tap hehe..... I used to have bowls of water on the carpet under the CH radiators and my two late monsters would usually drink it all up but totally ignore the bowl of water beside their food. With my two new Thugs, I simply have bowls of water in a variety of places around the house, but none next to their food. They drink out of all of them, usually the nearest to where they are at the time they want a drink !

I've just come downstairs to find the cat sitting in a large vase that is present in the living room! lol
LOL... brilliant - piccie required !

Both my girls will immediately jump into any cardboard box left on the floor (size is irrelevant.... BigThug sitting in a shoebox is a right sight though hehe), but I think virtually all cats do that !

I've been clearing out one of my rooms (getting it ready for decorating) and WeeThug was highly curious.... why are you shifting stuff, I could hear her asking me.... then she decided to sit on one of the recently emptied shelves.. oh well, it saved me having to dust it down !
Oh... WeeThug loves watching the water in the toilet bowl when I flush it too ! She runs upstairs whenever I go to the loo and can't wait for me to flush it..... plus this morning, I found her cuddled up on the (slightly damp) bath mat in the bath.... she likes to peer over the side of the bath at me and swat the bubbles when I'm lying there ....
jugglering beat me to it, a piccie of that scene would have been lovely. i once found cupar
he just fitted.
LOl @ Cupar.
I was told once that cats prefer puddles because the water has no chemicals in it. Tap water usually has fluoride added and cats can smell it.
