I know the feeling!! The cats water spends more time being mopped up than sitting in the bowl!

I know the feeling well during this hot weather I got several water dishes scattered around the garden that I'm always tripping over, & despite all the nice clean water available Max has discovered a spot were he can push under the heron net on the pond and help himself

Hi tigerlily , that's good ,but my dog's too big for that though , she would only just get her head in the gap under my units
lol ..:-) xxx

You should invest in a non splash water bowl, which has a lid on with a hole in the centre, and the water stays in even if you tip it up. Or else a bowl stand, so you just stub your toe on the metalwork rather than tip the bowl over!

Hi lankeela , that's interesting hun , I haven't seen one of those . She has a bowl stand as she has her meal in there with her being a big dog . The water dish I keep treading in though is the one in the lounge , which is where we are , and where she sleeps and is shut in when I go out .;-)

bigmamma! Have enjoyed this conversation!!!! Slight spillage of water - no probs - I have found normal drinking bowls quite adequate and if they tip what the heck!!! We have bowls of water in the house and dotted around the garden - pup also drinks from pond and bird bath. Lol - there is sense of humour here - such is the life of being a doggie/puddy cat owner!!!! :o) xxxx

So long as they have water.

Ps: Heavy duty water bowls should do the trick.Catch up with you later, let us know how you got on! :o)

Ah mamma, you make me laugh! We take Jack's water bowl up with us in the evening, and I often open the wardrobe, behind where we put his bowl, only for a pir of socks to roll into it, and sometimes a t-shirt!
So it hppens to the best of us hun, definitely. Did you get a look from Porsche?!
