Anyone know where to get a CD or similar to help me identify which song is from which bird?

Lonnie's right, the very best Bird ID CD is on the RSPB site. This is the direct link to the one I have called Collins Bird Songs & Calls by Geoff Sample.


Not the cheapest, but definitely the best as he takes you through all the different habitats on 2 CD's covering Moorland, Wetlands, Rivers, Lakes & Ponds, Farmland etc and you hear the birds in their natural home and not the isolated sounds that you get with some CD's.

Hello Shivvy. If you would like cds covering British Bird Song I have three from the Independent and will send them to you free of charge if you provide an address. I don't want any payment but a small donation to the RSPB would be a good idea; I am not involved with the RSPB
