Put this Chatter as don't know where to put it.

How do you feel About blurring your work and home life? I have some real friends from work who I socialize and come round with but a strange thing happened tonight.

I was selling my table and chairs on eBay and the buyer came around to collect. Well, to my surprise, it was my Manager! After the initial shock we exchanged pleseantries, she came in, had a look and my husband helped her get it in her car.

I'm feeling a bit funny about it now, can't really describe it, she's not really a friend but she's now been in my house and met my husband, not that there's anything wrong with my house, or my husband Ha Ha.

Just feeling a bit violated (probably too strong a work but don't know how else to put it)

Feel a bit awkward tomorrow.

I know I'm being silly.

Don't worry about it, you had a result. You had table and chairs for sale, buyer came and collected.
Don't worry about it, she might feel awkward you knowing she buys second hand stuff off eBay.
Easy, if your "manager" hisses you off, just tell everyone you dumped your old table n chairs on him/her. Imagine how "the management" feels. Haha one to you I feel.
I slightly know how you feel about surprise 'strangers' in your house.

Years ago, I joined a single parent society, went to a coffee morning and chatted awkwardly to a few people. Later on, one of the women turned up on my doorstep. I was surprised as I hadn't told anyone where I lived, but invited her in saying 'how lovely to see you again. Would you like a drink?' And she said 'Err, no thanks, I've just come to pick up your Betterware catalogue. Nice to see you anyway...'
I never went again.

Thanks folks, I'm sure it will be ok, just feels a bit invasive if you know what I mean. I like to keep my private life private and also she now knows my selling ID so she can see what I'm selling. Loathed to change it as I have over 700 good feed backs.

Cloverjo, you have made me laugh, thank you.
honestly life is too short to worry about this sort of thing

[altho I know a few people who 'had' to move after being burgled - clearly not me]
Don't worry about it.
