yesterday when I went out these pest were everywhere but no birds ,normally the sky is full of them .

heard on news this morning that apparently it's the 'season for them to come out'

in Hampshire alba and for the rest of the year they are in my garden ,every time I pull a weed there are ants ugh!
Is this the airborne anty terror force I've been reading about?
wombly was full of them yesterday..too wet here ..
yeuk.

FIL's kitchen was infested with the brutes a few years ago, all over worktops, cupboard doors etc, took a few months of determined effort to get shot of them

everytime I find a nest I spray them but they still keep popping up x

put that sticky stuff down that they walk through and take back to nest
I had an infestation of the damn things. I got a pack of two
DOFF Ant killer bait station. By the forth day not an ant in sight.

tried that minty ,didn't work .I even bought some round ant traps and put in my pots but they didn't work ,the damn things are everywhere x
phone your council they give advice on pests and insect infestations... Environmental health I think...they sent an expert to me in Norfolk when I had a problem with beasties I could not identify/ deal with..was free too

I think our bungalows were just built on a giant ants nest as everyone in the road has the problem x

It was probably flying day - strange time when all the flying ants fly from their nests. Birds won't eat them, they taste bad!
