Where does your dog sleep?

1 in its kennel outside, 1 in the storeroom outside, 1 in the kitchen, 3 in one of the toilets, and three in our bedroom
(I have 9 dogs, 2 cats, and 23 birds) We have a separate "cat room" and separate "bird-room")

He sleeps where ever he likes, usually moving around the house to different locations throughout the night. I recently bought him a lovely dog bed as he's got arthritis and is getting on. He won't even look at it, let alone sleep on it.

rr I have just got a new puppy and want to try and get him use to sleeping in the same place in the same bed...wish me luck.

In the snug/kitchen we have a routine and have done since we got them.
late night piddle, bed and treat, we then shut the door, their beds are in the snug but their water is in the kitchen.
Never had an issue and they are happy, when we take them on holiday we let them sleep in the bedroom if they wish as a treat, but more often of not they sleep in the lounge.

Hi, Both my wife and myself love animals. Nearly all of them are rescued. Even the birds were nestlings and fledglings that were reared by hand using syringes once the parents becme the prey of hawks or the nests came down in the storms. Loads of nests in our garden. Our birds consist of 1 warbler, 1 pigeon, 1 ring dove, 1 grey bulbul, 2 red-whiskered bulbuls, 1 sparrow, 3 lovebirds, and the rest are little brown finches. They are caged most of the time but we allow them to fly round from time to time, in their room.

If it is possible to release the birds we do, but we cannot release the ones that become too tame.

Animals and birds are our family!

Also to add I would let them sleep in the bedroom but I have cats and they currently sleep with me and my cats don't like my dogs!!

Mine sleep where they like, sometimes on my bed, sometimes not. I have never had a dog who always slept in the same place in the same bed.

mine use to sleep on her bed at the top of the stairs but when I woke up in the morning she would be in my bed, under the duvet with her head on the pillow........and I never heard a thing.

He has several sleeping places and he chooses one at random each night. He has his own bed , the sofa, my wife's bed, the top of the landing or a little alcove in the kitchen.

On the sofa. I bought a big dog bed for her to use downstairs,but she never used it. Now it's in my bedroom and that's where she sleeps at night. She'd get on the bed if she could,but that's a no-no. There wouldn't be any room for me. The cats aren't allowed in my room at night...they would be walking all over me or squabbling.
