Strange Telephone.

Phone rang, I answered it, it was Cynthia from India. While she was talking I could hear the other five phones we have throughout the house still ringing, but in a strange way. I told Cynthia there was nothing wrong with my computer or router and I was not interested in buying anything. I hung up but the other five phones carried on ringing. I had to go round the house sorting each phone. They wouldn't turn off. I had to press the green button first then the red one on each phone before they would turn off.
Could Cynthia have interfered with my phone system somehow.
I have never had this before.

I don't see how. Unsure what would cause the phones to continue ringing though. Trust that they work ok now.

Could you have inadvertently pushed the page/find handsets button?

I recommend the BT8500 phonr - the one with built in TruCall - certainly cuts down those calls!

I don't appear to have a "find phone" button.
My BT phone blocks calls. I did block foreign calls but the list became full and it doesn't block any further ones. Not fathomed out yet how to unblock the blocked numbers and start again if you know what I mean!

Caran.....I was part way through sending a text to a friend yesterday when I heard a voice speaking to me......it was the friend I was texting.....saying I was calling her....I never make calls on my mobile....and I was in the middle of a text...

These phones are full of imps and leprechauns sending us doolally...

Hi gness, no it hasn't come back yet. The more I think about it I'm sure somebody did it deliberately to the deer. The way it was wound round each antler alternately was beyond an accident. It was done so neatly, I would reckon about thirty different windings. Though how anyone could do it is beyond me!

I got similar calls for about 2 weeks, daily, assumed it was a scam.

No try, very small two bedroom end, but we have a phone in our bedroom, the bathroom, lounge, kitchen and the hall which also doubles as answerphone.
OH will not answer the phone due to extreme deafness so I like to hedge my bets and have one everywhere.
