Certainly the worst since last year.
I don't know about "ever" but not especially impressed so far. Too much rain. It'd be less frustrating if it kept it to the nighttime.
I do remember a horrendous summer of rain and chilly breezes here in Northern Ireland back in the 70s. I think it was just before or just after the really hot summer we had in 76. Not certain of the exact year, but it definitely was the worst three summer months I can remember. Relentless rain. There was big political upheaval here at the time, too, workers' strike, no electricity, couldn't get coal or oil as the docks had been taken over by the paramilitaries, so no heating or cooking. I vividly remember queuing in the rain to get basic food for my 2 year old and my new baby. Horrendous, both weather-wise and politically.

I don't go outside much so I've found it fine. It's not cold and that's the main thing.
Usual summer weather to me, although to be fair I have spent the last two on sofa with clinical depression ;)

On this day last year, the South East had a forecast of 37 degs C.
It's the worst June I can recall for a long time, is there not hope for July and August?
I`ve given up on this summer - I don`t think it`s going to happen.
I can remember some rubbish Junes. Its a funny month weather wise. We seem to get more settled warm weather Sept/Oct over the last few years.
I recall being back in the UK for the summer break and it rained every day in August.
It always rains in August. August is a very rainy month. I left Devon in 1985 and every year since then, I have had June leave. I always used to go home and manage to get at least a couple of days on the beach at that time. Not any more. The weather has completely changed.
Great for plants. My garden plants and bushes are growing fast and in full bloom. A haven for bees, butterflies etc. Hope we see a bit more sun though!
