Caspar appears to have flea Dermatitis. He's very irritated along the middle of his back. Can I still apply Advantage?

When I took a cat to the vet with this (who'd only had off the shelf products before that I never use now) they gave me Advantage and it was miraculous. I suppose you're worried about it going on an open sore? has he a clear area on the back of his head maybe, it only has to be dropped on one area that they can't lick off.

Yes...it's fine from what I can see. He's not all that cooperative.

Also...Advantage is no longer prescription only...great stuff
Now I wonder why that is pasta. Front Line was taken off prescription when people starting complaining it had become ineffective. And the price dropped.
Not saying this is the case here because I don't know as I've never used Advantage. I use Advocate. But if you've been using Advantage how has your dog got into its present condition do you think? I hope he's feeling better today. x
Silly me I always use Advocate too and I always get them mixed up on here!

ladybird ...Caspar is an indoor cat. And I admit to skipping several months of treatment. Otherwise...when I am consistant, there is no problem. I've used Advantage for several years with no complaints.
Sorry pasta, didn't realise Caspar is a cat. To be honest I didn't think you had to treat an indoor cat for fleas but then I've never had an indoor cat so what do I know.
