I have crazy dreams. When I wake I try my hardest to remember them but by the time I've finished my coffee I've usually forgotten them.

I do remember one time I thought my bedroom was full of cats. As I also talk in my sleep that was no fun for my partner :-)
I have unusual dreams every night. It's almost like a second life.
I get repeating themes, often something to do with travelling by car to a house owned by a family member; very enjoyable!
A thought, by the way, and a question. I NEVER remember dialogue when I wake up. Is that typical?
Just one, Patsy.......follows on from the car crash I posted about on Anex's thread... the lad who died came to me in a dream....
We were in Rugby railway station...he came towards me to hold my hands...I told him if he did I would die and have to go with him....

My grandmother....cranky old biddy.....appeared in the dream and he took her hands instead.....

The next day my mother called to say my Gran had died in the night and could I drive her to Rugby railway station to get a train to Ireland.....

Not too keen on dreaming of him again......☺

I dream a lot too. I can usually remember them. One I had years ago now, was that Princess Anne was crowned Queen. It wasn't like a usual dream, it was like I was actually there watching it!
A while ago, on a thread in these here parts, I mentioned a dream that was so long and detailed I managed to type up four A4 pages of it the following day. The odd thing was that none of the people in it – and there were lots – were people I knew in real life.

Gness, I've heard of these kind of dreams before. Did you know the lad personally? It's like he needed someone to go with him and it obviously wasn't your time, unlike your Grandmother. You're probably a very sensitive soul.
Anyway. Time to go to my alternative universe. Night night everybloody. Night night.
I suppose I do dream, but never aware of it when I wake up. I feel I'm missing out on something!
I once dreamt that I found a penguin at the bottom of the Road where my husband worked, I decided to take it with me (as you do) and give it a home. I woke up after my husband had left early for work, so didn't tell him my dream. He came home from work that evening and told me that his office had adopted a penguin at a zoo that day!

Enjoy your other life Zacs. Night night
Patsy....he was a friend from childhood....I should have also been in the car in which he was killed.
I had a strange feeling....premonition?....that I mustn't get in the car as we were about to leave....couldn't bring myself to go with them.
He said in that case he was going home as well....then they changed their minds.....the tyre on the car blew and they crashed....killing him......

Night, Zacs...sleep well......☺

Sorry to hear that Gness. It's a good job you have that 'special sense'
Don't always listen to it though, Patsy.....recall standing at the alter thinking......this is a mistake.....and it was.....☺
I used to get dreams where I was aware that I was dreaming. Something impossible would happen and I found my mind saying ''Hang on this is only a dream''. Occasionally I was in a dream and consciously decided to check it really was a dream by trying to fly. If I found I could fly I knew it was a dream.

Anaxcrosswords. I think it is usual not to remember dialogue in your dreams. I've often tried to remember what's been spoken but can only remember certain points.
And I often dream that I'm awake and that I can't sleep.
I often wonder if I'm dreaming when I read some of the crap posted on AB but when I wake up it's still there

Well there you are Gness! Hope you've learned from it.
Funny thing is, Patsy, that I’ve had dreams that have just been me talking to someone else. No change in scenery – entirely static – but I never remember a word, although I can picture most of the surroundings.
Talking of lucid dreams, there was one a few years ago, positively scary. I dreamt I was lying in bed, everything normal (and I remember the scenery was absolutely accurate, so I was 100% positive I was awake), and then there was some monstrous thing clawing at the end of the bed. The fright woke me up and it took me a good few minutes to realise I’d been dreaming.
