People.....to play with.
Kongs are quite good.

You stick a treat inside and the dog has to work at it to get it out.

Naughty, Eccles, I presume those are for the females....

thanks daffy, I have looked on amazon, just wondered if anyone has purchased any which they would recommend.
All I had for Max was one of those ball throwing sticks,we'd sit at the top of the hill on the old pit tip and he'd chase his ball up and down all day long.
Sainsburys has some quite good wild ducks that the spaniel here adores, spends hours wandering around with it in his mouth....but then he does that with his dinner bowl too!
anne, we bought our dog a Kong toy when she was younger, she loved it having to work at it to get her treats out.

Dunno about stimulating as such, but my dog adores her donkey teddy bear and carries it everywhere. I've lost count ive woken up with her and the damn thing in bed with us. As I type, she's next to me on the sofa, using it as a pillow.
We also got her one of these solid rubber balls which she likes playing with. There great as she can't chew it up like she can with tennis balls etc.

What do you buy the dog that has everything? Another dog to share?
None of my dogs has ever been slightly interested in a Kong, nor any other rubber thing. Funny that.
Not even a bouncy rubber ball, Yilly ?.
