Problem Adding Youtube Video Comments

How strange. Just went to reply to a comment on a YouTube video, but I can't do it. Instead of the usual text cursor appearing in the comment box I get the 'pointing finger' icon - when I click, a popup appears (the title bar shows an irrelevant subject title) before my ad blocker shuts it down. The result - despite reloading the page several times - is that I can't add a comment.
Has anyone else had this?
