When I try to use my computer - especially if I have something to type up - Princess Merlin insists on getting up on my desk so that I can pet her.

As a bad cat-mum I usually try to keep her away. I use either a spray deodorant (Soft & Gentle) or a spray bottle filled with water. Never hit her - it is the noise that she hates.

But the cat in this video is just odd .....

I personally wouldn't use a deodorant, just to frighten her,i would worry if the ingredients in it might harm her.

Cat Girl - actually picking it up is enough. If I need to spray it I spray in down my back. Her brother is asthmatic so we usually avoid sprays.

If she would get up on the desk and sit/sleep it would be fine - I can groom her. But she want her head scratched and then stomps around rubbing her cheek scent glands around. Sometimes she just seems to come flying through the air and lands on the keyboard.

The vet diagnosed her as being terminally stupid - this was just before my Princess went nuts and tried to kill all four humans in the room. Until then I didn't even know that they made muzzles for cats.

When I take Frankie to the vet he is usually so well behaved - we have to go every four weeks. To be honest he is terrified and just wants to hide in his carrier.

They are complicated animals - this adds to their appeal.
