Update on my cat called Mouse....

Good evening....and it is!

The vet rang earlier and said that all of his enzyme markers have come back fine the only thing that is showing as raised is his glucose.
This of course could be diabetes or she said it was not unusual for a stressed cat to show high glucose. So I have to go and pick up some pee crystals to try and get a urine sample from him!

He's been so much happier today although that said he did throw up the second I got off the phone to her. I even caught him wandering at the end of the road..... he's barely left the house in a week.

So good news of sorts.

Good news, hope he continues to improve xx
That's good news.

I wanted to say more but my keyboard has taken ill. Hope Mouse continues to get better.
hi there. glad that's some good news. it's really difficult to get a pee sample off cats, so good luck - they hate any changes to their toilet habits. hope you're feeling a little better too.

Hi lcg, I have to pop in to the vets today to pick up some crystals that you put in a clean litter tray and they absorb the pee and the tests can be done from that, so although it will mean locking Mouse in a room till he does his business hopefully it won't be too hard.....fingers crossed!
