Slugs feasting on, guess what?

Really gross but I just discovered the slugs in our garden have a penchant for - a hair ball that our cat has just deposited. What an extraordinary sight, if not completely disgusting! I've never seen so many big slugs in one area before, munching or rasping away................

Don't worry, tab, the hairballs will be fine
Their shells are mainly made of keratin so hair is a much sought after protein, rarely found in the wild.
Never thought of that before, I wondered why they come in my house from time to time :-)
Oh gawd I could make a heck of a lewd remark about snails eating .......
thats one way of clearing the bath plug hole, boxtops.....a snail in the bath
That's what slugs are there for. Clearing up mess. Be thankful they're munching away at that rubbish instead of your flowers or vegetables.
They usually pick on my flowers. But I saw a good few around some dog poo a few weeks ago down the alley near our house. Grosss. I wish I'd had some salt then.
