What small turtles will live happily in my 125ltr tank (if any)?

Hi,

I have platys, two clown loaches and an african dwarf frog in there, would it be cruel to put a small turtle in there, and what type could i put in a tank that size (if i didn't have the fish)?

Hi, your tank is over stocked already. Clowns need a minimum of 55usg [210ltrs]. So for two clowns you should really have nothing less than 300 litres.
If I were you I would re-home the loaches and have a good read up about turtles on a dedicated site.

I've actually had the loaches for about a year now and their quite happy, so i dont think i'll be rehoming them just yet. Since posting this tho my two platys have died from the heat were having at the mo, so i am a little less over stocked now :(

please dont encourage pet trades of non-indiginous animals......let them live where they belong.
