dog poo disposal

can dog poo be flushed down the toilet? I,m bagging mine at the moment and taking to the poo bin when i go up the field, but walking up the road with a bag of poo aint pleasant. any ideas on how to dispose of it? what do you do with yours? putting it in the bin aint really a option cos they only collect them once a fortnight

It could be flushed down the toilet - but it isn't pleasant taking it into the house. Look for a sewer inspection cover in your garden - usually these can be lifted quite easily and the poo can be thrown staright in.

Have you got a small corner where you could put this?

If it suits, I think you would probably be able to find cheaper ones if you search online.

I have tried 2 of them, and my dogs have pulled both of them out the ground and chewed them to pieces, lol!

I have a plastic bucket with a carrier bag in it, and put the poos in there. Then I tie the bag and put it in the wheelie bin, double bagging if necessary, although my dogs only do hard sausage like poos most of the time.

You can put it down a septic tank, or even the toilet if its only a small poo.
