elephant nose fish

This isn't a question but for those who are interested: my son's elephant nose fish, he has had it for 18 years. It died a few days ago. It was one three, and the remaining two seem to be fine. I wonder if it died of old age?

I would say so. A quick look on the net and most fish live between 5 and 15 years. Gold fish can live up to 30 <<< I didn't know that!
