anything replace a budgies cuttle bone

My budge smells of fish and its poop smells of fish, the bird is very healthy but as I have an allergy to fish and hate the smell of fish I am over sensitive to the smell whilst others wouldn't smell it. I know the cuttle bone is important but is there a non fishy alternative as I am convinced this is this source of the smell once the bird ingests it? Some kind of mineral stone which is just as good for keeping beak worn down and gaining calcium?

i see mineral blocks exist but can i take the cuttlebone out completely?
I think the mineral blocks are an as well as not an instead of we always gave ours both. The clays that bind the mineral block may help with the fishy smell though.
