I have no idea how much the farmer gets for allowing them to be built, it must be a lot because the are fighting to have them, but it will devalue your property, as they "hummm" which can be heard at night, and, there are fields of them some seven miles from me, and I can see them from the back garden on a good day, not pretty, but saving the environment possibly. I must also add, there were plans to build some nearby, and the locals objected, had meetings with planners, environment people, and the locals won, no wind farm. Skegness has them out at sea, just a few hundred yards from the beach, what an eyesore, mind you, skegness is not pretty at the best of times.
