Maltesers advert
Are the two girls in the current Maltesers advert about shrinking jeans the same person? They are very similar. I know one of them played the dippy receptionist in Doc Martin.

No, they are not the same actress but I agree they do look alike and others have asked the same question on this forum. The redhead actress whose jeans were the subject of the joke is the lovely Katherine Parkinson while her friend is the equally gorgeous Amanda Abbington. If you look at their pages at IMDB you will see they are both very accomplished actresses. Katherine was the female lead in the IT Crowd and Amanda has been in lots of successful comedies.
