Don't understand the advert - they are cooking different meals ie like a Fry and saying "bananas". What are they trying to achieve like I dont understand it - it maybe is a Sainsburys advert but very annoying.

Perhaps they've gone bananas.
Are they saying “thank you bananas”? Its a co op ad
I don't understand half of the adverts now on TV. With some of them l don't even know what product they're promoting!
Th advert is on here, there is a version on YouTube but sadly it is too rude to put up as it contains what people have misheard in the voice overs.

It is the Co-op and I think maybe they are referring to impulse buying, you go in for just one item (bananas) and come out with a bag full
I see it as meaning they went in for one thing (eg bananas) and came out with something else.

And Robinia ???????? . That i couldn't give a sh^^^^t - LOL
Nice.
JJ - you asked a question and Robina ( and others) have answered you, so why be so rude?
A bit unnecessary!
Hmmm...No BA for me then I take it?

Lol.... I'm not offended. My apologies go to Birdfeeder who'd already given a similar answer but wasn't there when I posted.
Basically they are saying that they went in to buy something they had run out of, like tea bags, and had bought something nice for tea whilst they were in there (the Co-op).
Im beginning to think JJ has some serious issues!
No Ratter, I don't think you're right. I find all of JJ's posts a delight, they are better than any cryptic crossword clue.

Yes, I totally agree with Robinia and Kathyann AND I tend to agree with RATTER too !i
jj - I think everyone is still waiting for you to apologise to Robinia. She took the time to give you, what I think, was a correct answer. She wasn't to know that Birdfeeder had given roughly the same answer only a minute earlier.

Come on jj, do the right thing - just say sorry for that outburst. You know it makes sense!
I dont think JJ was being rude to Robinia at all... JJ was referring to the advert.
As in .... I couldn't give a *** if you came in for something else and ended up buying something nice.
Yes its poorly worded but its not directed at Robinia.
As I said, no offence taken, no apology necessary.
I went in the Co Op on Monday for cooking apples....and came out with a ready made lemon cheesecake. lol...the advert's spot on.
Yes- I took it that way too. Hence the LOL
