I seem to be obsessing on TV adverts, but today's hot weather brings back memories of a jingle we used to get on TV advertising (many years ago, probably Sixties).

When it's eighty in the shade
Swish yourself a lemonade

But I can't for the life of me remember the brand being advertised. Was it Swish, or perhaps Schweppes ?

I've tried googling, but all I can find is a calorie reference to Swish Lemonade in a fitness site.

Could have been - in fact it looks like the answer - I don't get any sound on that clip but it looks as though it would match the jingle. It doesn't bring back any specific memories but it is a very long time ago.

P.S. I used to love those two-line jingles, like "You'll wonder where the yellow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent" etc. They seem to stick in the mind (mine anyway).

I don't remember it and I can't find one with sound but it fits in with swishing yourself a lemonade.
