There are two present adverts one which features an 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' character along with some 'meerkat' characters, and a Warburton bread advert which features a 'Silvester Stallone' character.

The question I wish to ask is are these actually Arnold Schwarzenegger and Silvester Stallone or are they actually look-a-likes?

I'm not sure but I think that they are 'clips' lifted from their films, presumably with their permission.
I haven't seen the Warburton's one but it's definitely Arnie in the other.

I believe it to be Ed Milliband after a trip to the gym!

They are the real thing.
A few years ago, William Shatner was advertising , I think, All Bran. Oh dear...
Of course, there's "Audrey Hepburn" flogging Galaxy and Marilyn Monroe in an ad for, is it perfume?
Yep its definitely Sly on Bolton Town Hall steps and his double is a stunt man called Martin Shenton.
I did wonder about him running up the Town Hall steps, thanks for that information, I nearly choked on a chip when I first saw the ad! Does Bolton also now have the big sign with the name on? Every time I see the ad I am reminded of getting up in the middle of the night to take daughter to her job of cleaning the huge mixing machines, luckily it didn't last long.
Wonder how much they got paid.
