The FA cup is currently sponsored by E.On, a German Company. Before them, it was sponsored by AXA, the French Insurance Group.

It has now been announced that a new sponsorship deal has been reach with the American Company Budweiser.

I realise English Football is a global brand, but you would have thought an English or British sponsor would be preferable, not that it really matter much?

Also, considering binge drinking and alcoholism is on the increase, should both or any of our national game's cup competitions be promoting alcohol to the young? (Worthington sponsor the league Cup).
