For The New Ed ......... Timing Out

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puz zles/Question628571.html

Sunday is possibly the most active day on the Site .... yet frustratingly Timing/Out happens too often ....

It is this kind of issue that has been going on for ages ... and, with no comment of substance the last two recent exited Eds .....

Can you include a response to this problem (along with a response to the numerous technical issues re this Site) in a future Blog for all to see?

would be nice to see the new Ed respond ...... after all, he/she is quite happy to start off in chatterbank, so has already used the site topics to make comment (ie has not limited 'public' comment to a Blog) ....

I'll certainly raise that point in our next meeting. Weekends are undoubtedly our busiest time and we need the capacity to keep things running smoothly.

Don't expect things to change immediately though, as the new site is in the early development stages as we speak.

Cheers

I find the 'time out' particularly annoying when I try to access the 'questions I have answered' in 'my profile'.

As the 'submit to this question' email facility cannot be relied upon, it is important to have a quick and easy method of finding posts that I have been waiting to be replied to.
