System Counting Your Answer On Your Own Question

What do people think when you make a question, but miss out a detail after saving; you would probably add this detail in an answer and the systems says that you have an answer.

That's not the problem for I realise that's what Answerbank does; but some people may not answer a question which has already been answered.

I might sound a bit biased as to trying to go on one side; but what do you think of this happening? I have had a few questions where I miss a crucial detail (me not being very thorough) and these have received no answers what-so-ever.

i would think that a person would click on a question regardless of whether it had an answer or not if they felt they could help.

Afterall, there are many questions posted with add on details or where someone has answered with a witty or irrelevant reply and not answered the question. Those ones do still get answered.

If a question title interest me I click on it whether it has a few, or many answers.

Most of us want to read the answers, not just try to give our own answer.

I don't think you giving an update will stop people looking.
