I agree about the report button, but the majority of people have dynamic ip addresses. Flick the modem off and on again - different ISP address.
And don't forget you'd be blocking the whole household - or it could be a public internet cafe.

I agree totally Patricia. I rarely come on here these days, and i have just read your sad post from earlier. I wanted to offer you my condolences but i didn't want to contribute anything to a thread containing offensive remarks from that sad loser.
So i will offer you my heartfelt sympathy now x

Don't forget you can email the ed using the 'contact us' at the bottom of this page.
Copy and paste the offending post, and put the email header as 'Offensive (or abusive or whatever) post in Question.....'
You need to give the question number.
I start the email, 'Due to a lack of report button on individual posts I have no option but to email you to report....'

I don't actually want to get anyone banned. I just want them to stop being horrible. Story of my life really. Just want the world to be a nice place and can't understand why everyone else doesn't want the same!

I wouldn't hold out too much faith in emailing the AB team, they are too busy flogging various comparison websites and cashback offers (spend a grand, earn a quid) to be dallying with the likes of us.

And whiffey- it wasn't flippant, it was downright rude and insensitive and designed specifically to further upset patricia here, so yes his replies should be removed.
You/me/him etc wouldn't say these things to someone face to face so why do it on a forum? Just because you're hidden behind a screen it doesn't mean you have the right to be deliberately crass to someone else.

lol, you're probably right- but i'm willing to bet whiffey doesn't fully agree with his own argument here either. He's just, as usual, playing devils advocate.
