Offensive answers to perfectly logical questions
I really get fed up with some of the morons who come on to the Animals & Nature site and give stupid, offensive "answers" (mostly with sexual innuendos). If these people (if that's what they purport to be) want cheap thrills, they should go elsewhere. I would love to be able to report them, but can only report posts (unless of course, I've asked the question). Does anyone else agree with me? A&N used to be a good site, but is being infiltrated by idiots.

Personally, i've always advocated decapitation, but everyone else seems to think thats a too harsh a punishment :-(

Don't go on Animals & Nature much myself , but I thin the whole of the answerbank has gone downhill recently .

Totally agree Kleiber. CB was supposed to eradicate such answers.
I really never get annoyed at plebs on here, whatever their beef with me but when I post a question in other categories and they continue their tirade of abuse and completely unfunny answers. it shows their true class.

Cheers, guys. Yeah, I know, BOO, but it really does p*** me off when people ask perfectly good questions, to have them answered in that way. I'm not even complaining about answers to my own questions - they've all been fine!

Kleiber, do you have a premium account with AB? Even as the poster of a question, I don't get the option to report an answer - just rate it.
I sympathise with you Kleiber but it is not just A&N. The rot has been steadily spreading from 'You Know Where' during the absence of an AB-Editor. Hopefully she can recruit a few bulldogs and round them up fairly quickly. A new padlock on the gate should then do the trick.

There is only one way to report it - copy the post and paste it in an email to the editor.
Be sure to include the question number and the id of the offensive poster.
The contact us link is at the bottom of the page.

I agree Kleiber - the morons who find it so hilarious to give stupid offensive answers are ruining the section. It is no longer suitable as a family site while this is going on and what on earth to new users think when they have posted a perfectly reasonable question only to find the morons have answered with smut!!!! I think new genuine users will think twice before using the section again!

Thank god (or the ed!!) for small mercies!!! A particular 'person' has just had two questions wiped off from another section due to the context etc etc. I am guessing you can guess who and the sexual innuendoes etc etc. This time he/she/it went too far!!!
No doubt 'it' will come back again - but how nice to see justice!!!!

Its even worse when you have been cloned and they then post nonsense in A & N -if thats not bad enough -some fool then took it upon himself to berate me -told me to sober up and got to -bed and its wasnt even me.Double whammy.
I agree-keep the sh!t to CB -not that i go there much -pretty much a one horse town -or should that be ass?

I think most people post decent, sensible answers on A & N kleiber - but now and again, a post "begs" an amusing reply. I agree that because of the cloning, it makes it difficult to defend yourself if the cloner decides it's "funny" to spoil a serious thread - but we usually just ignore them.

Hiya Kleiber, as B00 said it's seems to be happening in all topics now. It seems the silly people with nothing else to do make up new identities just to cause trouble and be offensive. Too much time on their hands I think.

I haven't seen all that sally, but I think I know who you mean. Some people just love having arguments, or trying to stir things up. The more you respond to them, the better they like it, and if you think A & N's bad anyone - then you ought to try CB for a few weeks!!! Lol. You soon learn to ignore the ones who like to make jibes and sick jokes.
