Regarding this whole ISP thing

If a member of this site uses software and technology skills to gain information about other members who have upset them, is it not also possible that some unscrupulous members could also use those same or similar assets to discover the personal details of any member? I am concerned about this issue slightly, it does not seem quite right somehow that there is this suggestion on here that members can invade peoples's private life , what, if anything, is the technical team doing to avoid any problems arising?

that's a valid point there slark, i know i pay a fee to something for security, a box comes up when i sign in that tells me it is all working ok, a green box thing, is that enough then? What exactly has been done that a member feels so distraught about their security on here?

At this time all I will say is someone on here is playing a sick game, but it is serious. The 'law' is looking into it and I don't mean just the police, higher than the police.

well we had all of that issue before christmas, but this is an odd scenario, one aber (Drisgirl) says a third party accessed her computer, and she says her son was able to find that out and find out who they were, that is the security issue i am on about, in this caser, drisgirl is saying the person was posting something or other, i don;t know what it was, but my thought on the thing is, why did Dris have to get to that stage, also, what if she actually wanted to have a go at someone, would her son not be able to access another person's info that dris just tok a dislike to? (don;t ump on that and suggest i mean dris is the sort who would do that, I have to use her as the eg cos it is her that is involved)

I should not have posted my previous post because I'm not allowed to speak a word about the investigation.
