Include Scrolling In The Word Count
Hey Ed, how about changing the rules to include scrolling in the word count to prevent idiots from messing up the threads?

And there's another reason why I feel the way I do about him. The childish habit he has of throwing his toys out the pram when someone says they dislike him.

Ok, maybe hates a strong word. But i do very much dislike the persona you have on here Legend. And as i've said in the past, If i knew you in real life, and you behaved the way you do here, I'd do everything within my power to make sure I had nothing whatsoever to do with you.

Legend (and I assume that is a moniker created because you are covering up for something!), how long does this perverse gratification last for annoying people last?
Have you not tried other methods like, journalism or perhaps calling the emergency services for fake emergencies?

Rec'd an email from the Ed this morning, saying there's nothing they can do about the excessive scrolling.
Thought maybe they could kindly ask the person/s responsible to refrain from doing so, via their next blog, or in one of their pink boxes in Sugg's.

B00, hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated. Few tasks are more like the torture of Sisyphus than ‘reasoning’ with legend, with its endless repetition: the clean becomes soiled, the soiled is made clean, over and over, day after day ad infinitum.
I don't have anything against you legend, but repetition is boring.

Anyway, getting back on topic.......Wouldn't the easiest thing in the world be for the AB Ed or one of her team to simply edit posts to take out scrolling, profanity and abuse? Would that not solve some of the problems?

Well I was reading off the little bottle I have for the cream to cure my itch Neti ;-)
Morty- according to the email smudge has recieved from Ed, they can't do anything about it. So despite most users being naffed off with it all we either have to put up or shut up.

They have word filters in place to star out certain profanity. It can't be beyond the wit and wisdom of the average programmer to apply those filters to excessive scrolling. Ie to delete more than 4 hard returns in one go.
As for "can't do anything about it" I suspect "won't do anything about it", since over the last 24 hours there have been nigh on 400 posts about this very topic which must be pretty good for advertising.
I suppose you are right though. Put up or shut up. Or leave and find somewhere else.

smudge maybe they let him seen as he speaks to them on phone all the time :-) lol and morty plenty of people have asked ED and as smudge said they cant do anything about it. x

IF I can't find my glasses then the scrolling strains my eyes. If I see it happening I tend not to read the rest of the thread.
