Dear AnswerBankers,

I hope you're well.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have now got a neat URL for the AnswerBank Facebook page.

We can now be found here: http://www.facebook.com/TheAnswerBank

Which is quite nice, don't you think? Very tidy.

This should link to our fan page:

http://www.facebook.c...6460736.4185878674..1

less tidy, but it should get you there.

We used to have two fan pages (due to that "unique" way Facebook is laid out) - if you were involved in the other page, please come be a fan of this one. Sorry to be a pain!

I hope everyone is having a good day.

All the best

Nothing much there except a group of young females. I don't think FaceBook has anything to offer that I can benefit from (at my age) so I don't think I shall be joining.
Question Author
No problem Gen2 - it is mainly for those people who use both AB and Facebook. We send updates on interesting threads and debates mainly.

I've already got a slot on Fbook but it's languishing so to speak, don't use it much. I might be tempted again.
Hi Spare Ed,

Those pages look pretty cool to me! But then, I would be a little biased.

Facebook Ed
whilst on the subject of both facebook & AB Ed - I want to transfer a photo of mine from my FB page, and use it as my avatar on AB for a short while.... I have tried to do this today, but can't get it to work - can you advise?
i have on occasion spoke on live chat to spare ed he/she is funny !! i enjoy the fb side of answerbank
View the pic on facebook, then right click on it and select copy image location.

Then goto the gravatar page, select add a new image, then add an image on the internet, right click in the text box where it asks you for the address and select paste, cick next and off you go.
Ah so - I'm not as thick technologically wise as I thought I was - cos that is indeed what I've been trying chuck. I have astounded myself. However, it didn't work - perhaps a temporary blip, I will try again later today.
thanks xx
tried again chuck - it says DNS unavailable.
