Why, when an article is removed does the link from 'My Profile' remain?

Specifically: How May I Know Whether My Wife Is Cheating On Me?

When I click on it I get 'Couldn't retrieve that thread'.

the thread appeared to be spam advertising, so that's probably why it was removed. As to why it's still on your profile, though, that's one for the techy-gnomes at AB to figure out.
